Turkish Sailing Guitar Vacation

Well it’s been a busy second half of the year and the blogging has been a bit slack. Lots to tell so in chronological order I’ll start with an amazing trip to Turkey! 

In June I joined The Guitar Social for a trip to play guitar whilst sailing the beautiful Aegean Sea enjoying the stunning Turkish coastline.  Our host Anne Bektas and her great team laid on amazing food and sailed us across many idyllic sites in their amazing Gulet.  

Days were spent engaged in guitar workshops, soaking up the sun, jumping into the crystal clear waters. The nights spent performing in our very own open mics on deck or enjoying the local night life. And all with the most warm and friendly folks you could hope to spend the week with!

That’s not all! Myself and Guitar Social CEO Thomas Binns were invited to carry on the adventure with cigar box guitar builder extraordinaire Eric Molynuex who captained our very own chartered yacht for another week.
